EC Carpets wool: Elmsford and Cotswolds

Two loop piles in 100% New Zealand wool. The difference you can see is the pattern: organic on one, geometric on the other.

Wool carpet in a master bedroom installed by Cross Carpets

EC Carpets, the Australian mill, has put two pure-wool loops in front of retailers. We can show both in Southport. This note only repeats what EC publishes about how they look and what they are made of. It does not copy their wear guarantees. If a guarantee is part of your decision, we will open EC's own page with you, because the conditions are theirs.

Elmsford

Elmsford is a 100% New Zealand wool loop. EC describes the pattern as offset and organic: the texture shifts across the floor instead of locking into a strict repeat. The palette they talk about mixes deeper tones with soft neutrals. That is enough to know whether it is the mood you want. The sample tells you the rest.

Cotswolds

Cotswolds is also 100% New Zealand wool loop pile. The pattern EC describes is geometric: more ordered, more architectural, still a loop rather than a cut pile. They position the colours as warm neutrals and earthy tones. Put the two samples together and the pattern is the difference, not a different fibre.

What we will not put in this post

Pile weights, star ratings and year-counts on a guarantee. EC prints those on their specification sheets. They change, and they are not a promise from Cross Carpets until we have quoted your rooms. Loop pile can also snag if a claw pulls a yarn, which is a general fact about loops, not a criticism of these two. If you have pets that claw, say so at the measure. Carpet types covers that choice.

Both ranges sit on the premium wool page next to Bremworth and Prestige Natural Textures. The showroom is 4 Brolga Avenue, Southport. The measure is free.
