What is considered a luxury or premium carpet?
There are several elements that are considered luxurious when talking about carpet. These include natural fibres, the overall carpet density/weight (thickness) as well as the style of carpet. Generally speaking, luxury carpets are a thick plush pile carpet ranging from 60 – 85oz in weight.

What is Axminster carpet?
In short Axminster carpet is a woven style of carpet which it’s specifically made for complex or intricate patterns and designs. Majority of carpets are tufted meaning the fibre is glued to the carpet backing. Woven carpet is as the name suggests, where each fibre is woven into the backing.

Where can I buy Prestige carpets Himalayas?
We are a proud stockist of Prestige Carpets and in particular their Himalayas range. This chunky linear style loop pile heathered carpet has a high and a low loop, which gives a beautiful texture to the carpet. We also stock their entire residential range of carpets.
